On Thursday, May 10, the Hooters South Carolina Bikini Contest was held at Hooters- North Charleston. Being asked to judge the contest last year was a surprise, but being asked back again was an honor. In addition to the contest, Hooters hosted an auction to raise money for the Kelly Jo Dowd Breast Cancer Foundation. Kelly Jo Dowd was the mother of former phenom Dakota Dowd. Hooters would like to thank Legend Oaks, Golf Club at Wescott, Coosaw Creek, Rivertowne, Patriot’s Point, Links at Stono Ferry, and Shadowmoss for donating rounds of golf toward the auction.
